Ecora Resources boosted by 'best' drill results yet at Patterson Corridor East uranium project

Ecora Resources PLC (LSE:ECOR, TSX:ECOR, OTCQX:ECRAF) has reported new assay results from operator NexGen Energy showing the highest-grade mineralisation so far at the Patterson Corridor East uranium project in Canada.

The royalties-focused investor said these results represent the strongest reported grades to date from the project - and directed investors to the full NexGen announcement for further technical information.

"These exceptional grades significantly elevate our understanding of PCE and offer a glimpse at the growing basement-hosted uranium prospectivity in the southwest Athabasca Basin," NexGen exploration VP, Jason Craven, said.

Drill hole RK-25-256 returned 5.5 metres at 21.4% U3O8 from 590 metres depth. The interval included 2.5 metres at 46.1% U3O8 and 0.5 metres at 74.8% U3O8. A separate adjacent section measured 1.5 metres at 5.28% U3O8.

Ecora said it holds a 2% net smelter return royalty over the project, which is subject to a 50% buyback right.
