Imugene Ltd (ASX:IMU's Leslie Chong talked with Proactive about the company’s latest efficacy data from its Phase 1b trial of azer-cel, an allogeneic CD19 CAR-T therapy for blood cancers.
Chong revealed that the overall response rate (ORR) in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) has now risen to 82%, with all participants experiencing either a complete response (CR) or partial response (PR).
Importantly, the first patient dosed in 2024 remains cancer free after more than 19 months, according to Chong. She noted that many of these patients had failed multiple prior therapies, some receiving up to six previous treatments including autologous CAR-T.
