Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) said on Monday that Terry Salman, a veteran of Canada’s capital markets and mining industry, has been appointed as an advisor to the company’s CEO.
Salman, who will join Arizona’s advisory board, brings decades of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and resource-sector leadership.
The company said his expertise will support the advancement of its Philadelphia Project and broader strategic growth initiatives.
Salman previously served as CEO of Salman Partners, an independent investment dealer, and as vice chairman of Nesbitt Thomson. He has advised and financed numerous resource companies across multiple commodity cycles.
“Terry continues to impress me with his industry knowledge and the respect he wields in the mining community,” Mike Stark, CEO of Arizona Gold & Silver, said in a statement. “I look forward to benefiting from his guidance as we move our Philadelphia and Silverton projects forward.”
The company also announced that Salman has been granted 200,000 stock options at a price of C$0.74 per share for a five-year term.
