Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) earlier this week shared drilling results from the Dynasty gold project in Ecuador and confirmed its mineral resource update remains on track for the first quarter of 2026.
The company said infill drilling had consistently intersected the predicted gold veins. It added that the results improve confidence in the geological model and support an upgrade in resource categorisation.
The company also highlighted that step-out drilling had extended gold mineralisation from surface. A further 3,000 metres of drilling is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, primarily at the Cerro Verde prospect, which hosts around two-thirds of the current resource base.
Chief executive officer Melanie Leighton said: “What they demonstrate is that our infill drilling is effectively hitting the veins like clockwork.” She added that this supports the planned resource update early next year.
Titan Minerals said it had begun to identify porphyry-hosted mineralisation at Dynasty. Recent drilling intersected broad zones — over 100 metres — of gold-rich porphyry mineralisation. The company said this could complement the higher-grade gold with bulk-tonnage potential.
Leighton stated that follow-up drilling into the porphyry zone, named Calipuy, would likely continue into January 2026. The company believes the system remains open along strike and at depth.
Titan also reported that due diligence by potential project partner Lingbao is progressing. The company said Lingbao is halfway through a 90-day exclusivity period. A second site visit is underway, focused on deepening technical evaluations and reviewing infrastructure and nearby producing mines.
Titan Minerals said it remains focused on completing its drilling program and delivering a resource update in Q1 2026.
Proactive:
Welcome back to Proactive Newsroom. I'm now joined by Titan Minerals CEO Melanie Leighton. Melanie, it's good to see you again. How are you?
Melanie Leighton (Titan Minerals):
Great to be here. I'm well, thank you.
Proactive:
You've released a set of results from the latest drilling campaign at Dynasty. Could you walk us through those?
Leighton:
Yes, the results are really encouraging for us. What they demonstrate is that our infill drilling is effectively hitting the veins like clockwork. Wherever we predicted them, they're coming up. That’s great for improving confidence and upgrading the resource categorisation.
The extension results are also exciting — they’ve extended mineralisation from surface. All of this supports our planned resource update early next year. So, great news for us.
Proactive:
Your resource definition diamond drilling over the past few months is in the lead-up to a mineral resource update in Q1 2026. How are you tracking?
Leighton:
We are on time. We’ve got about 3,000 metres of drilling left to complete between now and the end of the year. That drilling is largely targeting extensions. Right now, we’re at Cerro Verde, the largest prospect at the Dynasty project — around two-thirds of the current resource sits there.
We’re also targeting porphyry-hosted mineralisation we’ve started identifying in recent drilling — broad, 100+ metre intersections of gold-rich porphyry material. That’s very encouraging for the project and helps augment the high-grade feed with bulk-tonnage mineralisation. We’re certainly targeting that between now and year-end, and working towards the resource update in Q1 next year.
Proactive:
Additional drilling will kick off in Q1, specifically January 2026. What will that entail?
Leighton:
Between now and year-end, we can only complete so much drilling into the porphyry target — the Calipuy porphyry. There will be a need to follow up in the new year. It will likely remain open and untested along strike and at depth. We’ll be targeting that once we have all the results back from this year’s work.
Proactive:
Melanie, I also believe Lingbao due diligence is progressing. Tell us more about that.
Leighton:
Yes, very encouraging. Lingbao is about halfway through the 90-day exclusivity period, during which they’re completing further due diligence. The aim is a project-level transaction for the Dynasty Gold Project.
They’re currently on site for a second visit, spending two days at Dynasty to deepen their technical understanding. They’ve already done a lot of work, but are doing more project-specific reviews. They’ll also be visiting infrastructure in the region and other commercial mines in production. They’ve got a lot on their itinerary.
Proactive:
Titan Minerals CEO Melanie Leighton, it's been good having you as always. Thank you so much.
Leighton:
Amazing. Thank you.
