Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd has launched a fundraising initiative to support relief and recovery efforts for residents affected by the major apartment fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, and is inviting the global crypto community to contribute.
The company has set up two dedicated wallet addresses to receive crypto donations:

“As a Hong Kong headquartered company, we are heartbroken by the tragedy and horror of the fire in Tai Po,” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands. “We encourage the global crypto community to help fund relief and recovery efforts for the thousands of people affected by this disaster, either by donating directly to relief organizations or via the wallets we have set up to facilitate crypto donations of liquid tokens.”
The donation window runs until December 2, 2025, after which Animoca Brands will convert the collected tokens and make the HKD donation on December 3, 2025. For transparency, the company will publish a donation receipt showing the final amount collected and donated.
