Imaging Biometrics Ltd (LSE:IBAI) has unveiled a new version of IB Clinic, its image-processing suite used in hospitals and research centres, calling the release a step change in how clinicians handle complex brain-imaging data.
The updated platform brings together almost all of the company’s plug-ins, including IB Neuro, IB DCE and IB Rad Tech, into one system.
The company said the redesigned suite now operates in a “hands-free” and platform-independent way, reducing the amount of manual setup usually required to run advanced scans.
In practice, that means clinicians can move more quickly from raw images to interpretable results, while the software handles the technical work behind the scenes.
IB said the overhaul removes bottlenecks that typically slow imaging workflows. Its standardisation technology aims to ensure that results are consistent and reproducible, a key requirement when scans are used to track disease progression or measure response to treatment.
Integrated access to approved third-party tools is intended to make reporting and collaboration easier across clinical, research and commercial teams.
New capabilities include ROI-based volumetrics, longitudinal reporting for measures such as Delta T1 and fractional tumour burden, and standardised storage of imaging reports in the DICOM format used across the medical sector.
Imaging options have also been broadened, with support for arterial spin labelling, SAGE perfusion, enhanced dynamic contrast imaging and updated diffusion MRI processing.
Features such as colour-blind support, configurable lookup tables and automated reporting are designed to make the software easier to use on both local and cloud-based systems.
The company said it has also made more than 30 stability fixes, expanded Mac viewer support and updated its development pipeline with automated testing, aiming to improve reliability as usage grows.
