Askari Metals Ltd (ASX:AS2) executive director Gino D'Anna talked with Proactive about the company’s strategic acquisition and renewed exploration focus across its African assets.
D’Anna confirmed Askari has now fully acquired Hong Kong Zhenyu Mining International Investment, the owner of the Zerihun (Zerihun/Zero to confirm) Gold-Copper Project in Ethiopia. He explained that the acquisition streamlines the company’s ownership rights across three exploration licences valid through March 2028.
The acquisition follows a successful A$1.6 million capital raise, which the company will direct predominantly to exploration at the Nejo Gold-Copper Project.
