Riversgold expands mineralised footprint as GC drilling strengthens Northern Zone model

Riversgold Ltd (ASX:RGL, OTC:RVSGF) has received assay results from the first six holes of a 21-hole vertical grade control drilling program completed in October 2025 at the Northern Zone Intrusive Hosted Gold Project, 25 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The Northern Zone forms part of Riversgold’s broader Kalgoorlie Gold Project.

The latest results continue to extend the gold mineralisation footprint at Northern Zone, with notable intercepts including:

  • 9 metres at 1.33 g/t gold from 56 metres (NZAC146)
  • 3 metres at 4.39 g/t gold from 45 metres (NZAC149)
  • 3 metres at 1.89 g/t gold from 48 metres (NZAC150)
  • 5 metres at 1.75 g/t gold from 61 metres to end of hole (NZAC150)
  • 4 metres at 0.83 g/t gold from 47 metres (NZAC151)

GC drill collar plan and most recently reported significant drill intercepts, with gold grade contours from all drilling results up to April 2025. Contours will be updated when all pending assays are received.

Assays for a further 15 holes from the October grade control program are pending. In parallel, Riversgold is 12 holes into a separate 40-hole drilling campaign that commenced in November 2025, with results from this program expected to be reported over the next 6–8 weeks.

“As highlighted in previous news releases, we wanted to undertake two drill programs before the end of the calendar year to add to our gold footprint in the top 50-60m at our Northern Zone Gold Project which, along with the Gold Wing Project, forms part of our larger Kalgoorlie Gold Project, and to enhance the MEGA Resources mining scenario for 2026. The results from this first batch of assays results continue to expand the lateral footprint of Northern Zone and we are achieving the goal of making the project bigger in the oxide zone,” RGL chairman David Lenigas said.

“We continue to keep delivering great results, and everything is going to plan as we expand the mineralised footprint of the Kalgoorlie Gold Project and define the high-grade gold zone hosted within a large lower-grade porphyry host. The reported results continue to not only meet but exceed expectations, with the new high-grade zone being delineated on the eastern margin of the Project, now looking to move northwards.

“Our second shallow drill program is well underway with more samples now in for assay, and we will report results as they come to hand over the next 6 to 8 weeks."

Expanding footprint

Results from the GC program continue to intersect the mineralised host porphyry over an expanding footprint and consistently support the broader gold mineralisation model. Five drill holes on the eastern extension returned significant gold mineralisation, extending the footprint to the north. A key southwest–northeast cross-section generated in Leapfrog 3D software is shown below, illustrating gold grade shells derived from all significant intercepts reported in April 2025. The Leapfrog model will be updated once all outstanding assays have been received.

The Leapfrog model will be updated once all pending assays are received. The model is constrained via a 25m buffer to all the RGL/Oracle drill hole traces that have been drilled at Northern Zone since 2021. Refer to Figure 2 Drill collar plan for the location of the section line.

Northern Zone is hosted within a Tonalite–Trondhjemite Intrusion (TTI) porphyry unit, characterised by elevated background gold and horizontal gold-mineralised zones within the TTI. The project lies within the Canon Shear or fault zone, and further drilling is required to fully define the limits of the mineralisation identified to date. The predominantly horizontal mineralisation means drilling to date has been completed perpendicular to the gold zones, and the absence of groundwater to 60 metres' depth makes the TTI well suited to the drilling techniques the company has employed.

Riversgold will continue to build its understanding of the Kalgoorlie Gold Project ahead of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), with the current drilling to be incorporated into Mega Resources’ mine planning for the parties’ joint objective of commencing mining in the first half of 2026.
