Small Cap Watch: BOA Resources and Askari acquisitions; Synertec contract; Riversgold results and more…

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index [XSO] closed at 3,635.90, up 53.30 points or 1.49%, to be 44.30 points (1.23%) higher over the past five sessions. With sentiment improving across the small-cap end of the market. Several resource and energy companies have released material project updates and transactions this morning. You can read about these and more throughout the day.

BOA Resources

BOA Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) has acquired a 49% interest in Stanifer Pty Ltd, which holds 13 exploration licences (12 pending and one granted) covering approximately 1,140 square kilometres at the highly prospective Neds Creek Project in the Murchison Copper Belt of Western Australia. The region hosts several significant copper deposits, including Sandfire’s DeGrussa and Monty mines and the nearby Thaduna and Green Dragon deposits. The acquisition provides BOA with a substantial land position in a proven copper district and a platform for growth through exploration and discovery.

Askari Metals

Askari Metals Ltd (ASX:AS2) has completed the acquisition of Hong Kong Xingxu Mining International Investment Co. Ltd, the owner of the flagship advanced brownfields Nejo Gold and Copper Project in Central-Western Ethiopia. Nejo, located on the Arabian-Nubian Shield, covers about 1,174 square kilometres. The transaction gives Askari exposure to an advanced gold-copper project with large-scale resource potential, expands its African portfolio and secures a district-scale landholding in a geological terrane that hosts several globally significant gold deposits across Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Synertec Corporation

Synertec Corporation Ltd (ASX:SOP) has been awarded a contract by Shell QGC for the supply of a Powerhouse system to power a coal seam gas well site in the Surat Basin, Queensland. The award follows the successful deployment and operation of multiple Powerhouse units with other major energy operators in the same region. Under the contract, Synertec will provide a rental Powerhouse system into Shell QGC’s gas operations during the fourth quarter of FY26, further demonstrating the scalability of Powerhouse as a zero-emission renewable power solution for remote industrial applications.

Riversgold

Riversgold Ltd (ASX:RGL, OTC:RVSGF) is continuing to expand the gold mineralisation footprint at the Northern Zone Gold Project, part of its Kalgoorlie Gold Project in Western Australia. Assay results have been received from the first six holes of a 21-hole program drilled in October 2025. Notable intercepts include 9 metres at 1.33 g/t gold from 56 metres (NZAC146), 3 metres at 4.39 g/t from 45 metres (NZAC149), 3 metres at 1.89 g/t from 48 metres and 5 metres at 1.75 g/t from 61 metres to end of hole (both NZAC150), and 4 metres at 0.83 g/t from 47 metres (NZAC151). Targeted drilling is continuing, with the current campaign 12 holes into a 40-hole November 2025 program, and further results expected over the next 6–8 weeks.

Titan Minerals

Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has reported progress at its 100%-owned Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador, where it is undertaking resource definition diamond drilling ahead of a planned Mineral Resource update in the March quarter of 2026. The current program is focused on the Brecha-Comanche and Kaliman targets within the Cerro Verde prospect and is designed to rapidly grow resources by testing extensive zones of porphyry and breccia-hosted gold-silver ± copper mineralisation. Infill drilling at Brecha-Comanche to support resource categorisation upgrades has validated the interpreted locations and grades of vein and breccia mineralisation, with the predictability of the modelled mineralisation expected to underpin a robust resource estimate for use in future feasibility studies.
