The S&P/ASX 200 edged higher on Tuesday, adding 11.90 points, or 0.14%, to finish at 8,537.00. Droneshield Ltd and Ramsay Health Care Ltd led the gains, jumping 14.61% and 12.70% respectively. Over the past five sessions, the benchmark is up 0.80% and has risen 4.63% since the start of the year.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index [XSO] also advanced, climbing 53.30 points, or 1.49%, to 3,635.90, and is up 44.30 points, or 1.23%, over the past five days.
