Pantoro Gold Ltd managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive about new ultra-high-grade gold intercepts from the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia.
Cmrlec discussed the company's ongoing underground drilling at the historic Crown Reef zone, highlighting visible gold returns across numerous holes. He noted, “Getting a fairly large area together now with this high-grade visible gold, consistently coming back in a large number of the holes, is exactly what we're looking for.” This drilling marks the first targeted work at Crown Reef since the 1970s.
He also addressed the intersected O'Brien's Reef, which already hosts a mineral resource of 130,000 tonnes at 9.7 grams per tonne of gold. The proximity of O'Brien’s to Crown Reef may allow Pantoro to develop two independent mining areas simultaneously, enhancing production flexibility.
