Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK, OTC:ALKEF) has appointed Ms Denise McComish as an independent non-executive director, effective December 1, 2025. She will also chair the company’s Audit & Risk Committee.
McComish brings three decades of audit and advisory experience from KPMG, where she was a partner and previously served as a national board member and national mining leader.
She currently sits on the boards of Web Travel Group Ltd, WA Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation (Synergy) and mental health organisation Beyond Blue Ltd. She was a non-executive director of Gold Road Resources Ltd until its recent acquisition by Gold Fields Ltd and has also held board roles with Mineral Resources Ltd and Macmahon Holdings Ltd.
McComish is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.
