Highland Critical Minerals Corp (CSE:HLND) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, 6025 Nunavut Ltd, has executed a definitive asset purchase agreement with an arm’s length vendor to acquire a 100% interest in two mining claims in Nunavut, Canada.
The acquisition covers two contiguous mineral claims totaling approximately 2,469 hectares.
The property is considered prospective for gold and base metals, consistent with Highland’s strategy to expand its exploration portfolio in the region.
The agreement was signed on November 21, and completion of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
Under the terms of the agreement, the vendor will receive 50,000 class common shares in Highland as consideration.
Highland said that, pending completion, it intends to review existing data on the claims and develop an exploration plan for the property.
No finder's fees are associated with the transaction.
