EMV Capital (AIM:EMVC) has appointed Anesh Patel as group chief financial officer, with the change effective from 1 December.
The company said current CFO Stephen Crowe will move into a newly created position of portfolio CFO.
The firm said the expansion reflects the growth of its operations, with assets under management now above £100 million.
“As the group continues to grow, we are expanding our senior finance leadership. Stephen has been instrumental in helping build EMVC to where it is today, and I am delighted that he will continue to support our portfolio companies in a dedicated capacity,” said chief executive Dr Ilian Iliev.
He added: “We are equally pleased to welcome Anesh to EMVC. His blend of financial leadership, capital-markets experience and sector expertise makes him exceptionally well aligned to our next phase of growth.”
The company highlighted that Patel brings more than twenty years of strategic finance experience, including roles in investment banking and AIM-quoted life sciences groups.
Crowe will, meanwhile, oversee senior finance support for selected portfolio companies following an orderly handover.
