The S&P/ASX 200 finished higher on Monday, climbing 108.6 points, or 1.29%, to 8,525.1 after touching a new 100-day low earlier in the session. Qube Holdings Limited and Reece Limited led the gains, up 19.41% and 12.66% respectively. Over the past five days the benchmark is still down 1.29%, but it remains 4.49% higher year to date.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index closed at 3,582.6, up 63.2 points, or 1.80%, on the day, although it is down 77.7 points, or 2.12%, over the past five sessions.
