St George Mining Ltd executive chairman John Prineas talked with Proactive about the latest diamond drilling results at the company’s Araxá Rare Earths and Niobium Project in Brazil.
Prineas outlined thick, high-grade intersections, including 8.55 metres at 5.44% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 0.6% niobium from surface. He noted that the mineralisation starts at surface and extends up to 100 metres thick in places, which is particularly favourable for project economics.
The ongoing drilling campaign is aimed at both expanding the existing resource and upgrading parts of it from inferred to indicated.
Hancock Prospecting is also set to become a major shareholder, signalling strong institutional interest.
