Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) earlier this week told investors that recent drilling at its Dynasty Project in Ecuador had uncovered wide zones of porphyry-hosted gold, silver, and copper. The company said these results have the potential to significantly expand its resource base.
The current resource at Dynasty stands at 3.10 million ounces of gold and 22.00 million ounces of silver. Titan Minerals said this figure only includes epithermal mineralization. It noted that the new drilling has uncovered porphyry-style mineralization not yet included in the current estimate.
CEO Melanie Leighton said the company is aiming to incorporate the porphyry-hosted mineralization into a resource update scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The company said this additional material is expected to support improved project economics due to its bulk-tonnage characteristics and lower strip ratios.
The company added that ongoing drilling includes both infill and extensional work. Titan said this approach is intended to upgrade and grow the resource. Leighton said: “We’ve got four drill rigs on site at Dynasty, and a slew of assay results to come.”
Titan Minerals also noted that drilling continues at its Linderos Copper Project in Ecuador. The company said Hancock Prospecting is managing the drilling program there, with two rigs currently operating on site. Titan expects assay results from that project before the end of the year.
The company told investors that it remains on track to deliver the updated Dynasty resource in early 2026. It said mine studies, pit design, and scheduling will follow the updated resource.
Titan highlighted that a number of assay results from both Dynasty and Linderos are expected to be released before the end of 2025. The company said these results will inform further development and evaluation efforts.
Proactive:
Titan Minerals has intercepted wide porphyry-hosted gold, silver, and copper at its Dynasty Project in Ecuador. All the details are with the company's CEO, Melanie Leighton. Melanie, it's good to see you again on Proactive. How are you?
Melanie Leighton:
Yeah, I'm great. Thanks for having me. It's great to be here.
Proactive:
Melanie, there's some pretty impressive hits. The market is obviously quite happy about them. Your share price is up nearly 2% at the time of this recording. How happy are you with those results?
Melanie Leighton:
Yeah, look, I think these results are really encouraging. And what it demonstrates is that we've got large, extensive zones of porphyry-hosted mineralization at the Dynasty Gold Project. And what they will do is really sort of supplement and augment the really high-grade vein-hosted mineralization there.
So it allows us to rapidly expand the resources with these bulk-style mineralizations, which requires, you know, less drilling to reach a categorization status to bring into future resources and ultimately reserves for the project.
Proactive:
Melanie, you said to the market that you're pretty confident that this additional drilling will facilitate a robust resource update that will support the completion of mine studies and economic evaluation for Dynasty. What are you hoping for as we track towards a resource update in early 2026?
Melanie Leighton:
Yeah, so the current resource base at Dynasty is 3.1 million ounces of gold, 22 million ounces of silver, and it all extends from surface. That resource is entirely based upon the epithermal gold mineralization, so it doesn't contemplate the porphyry mineralization that we've been unveiling in our drilling over the past sort of 3 to 6 months.
So what we're targeting with the resource update is obviously growth. We're looking to add more bulk-style mineralization with the porphyry-hosted gold.
And ultimately what that will support is lower strip ratios and really robust and improved economics for the project as well. So yeah, a lot of work to be done, but a resource to be delivered in Q1. And then obviously the mine studies – pit optimization, design, and scheduling – to come after that. So really exciting times for us.
Proactive:
And there is quite a fair bit of work to be done, like you highlighted, Melanie. But with just four or so weeks away from the end of the year, what can investors expect next from Titan?
Melanie Leighton:
Yes, you're right, the end of year is rapidly approaching. But it's all systems go for us. We've got four drill rigs on site at Dynasty and, you know, a slew of assay results to come from the drill bit.
Look, a lot of our resource drilling is infill, but there's also a significant component that is extensional, and that’s sort of pushing into that porphyry-hosted mineralization.
So more results to come between now and the end of the year.
And then outside of the Dynasty Project, at the Linderos Copper Project where Hancock Prospecting is drilling with two rigs at the moment, we're expecting results to come out between now and the end of the year for that project as well.
So a lot of news to come from the drill bit at both our gold and copper projects in Ecuador.
Proactive:
And quite a few updates to shed light on in the next few weeks. We'll look forward to having you on to discuss those. This was Titan Minerals CEO Melanie Leighton. Thank you for your time.
Melanie Leighton:
Thank you.
