Renegade Exploration Ltd (ASX:RNX) has outlined a priority drill target at the Myschka gold prospect within its Yukon Project in Canada, after new work confirmed strong geological and geochemical similarities to large Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS) deposits in the Tintina Gold Province’s Tombstone Gold Belt.
Recent rock chip sampling, detailed mapping and a helicopter-borne magnetic survey indicate that Myschka shares key geochemical signatures and geophysical characteristics with established RIRGS deposits in the district. The prospect lies about 80 kilometres south of Snowline Gold Corp.(TSXV: SGD)'s 7.9-million-ounce Valley RIRGS gold deposit and roughly 120 kilometres south-east of Banyan Gold’s (TSXV: BYN) 7.7-million-ounce AurMac gold deposit.
“Planning is now underway to drill our Myschka prospect in 2026 after recent fieldwork confirmed it has all the hallmarks of being another RIRGS deposit in the Tombstone Gold Belt. Myschka’s rock geochemistry is dominated by Au-Ag-Sb-As association as is recorded for many RIRGS deposits in the region. Snowline’s (TSXV:SGD) Rogue Project with almost 8Mozs gold is only 80km away and we are excited to be planning a drill program at Myschka in 2026," Renegade Exploration chairman, Robert Kirtlan said.
“The pathway for the funding and development of our Yukon Project is looking robust. The Tombstone Gold Belt is an exploration hotspot. The Yukon is an investment destination and Canada is emerging as one of the most supportive jurisdictions in the world given its growing financial and regulatory support for explorers.”
Reinforced potential
High-grade rock sample results from the 2025 program have reinforced the target’s potential, with standout assays including:
- 1,525 g/t silver, 0.826 g/t gold and 0.22% antimony (sample G792121)
- 1,975 g/t silver, 0.063 g/t gold and 0.18% antimony (sample E812131)
- 130 g/t silver, 0.701 g/t gold and 0.455% antimony (sample E812120)
On the back of these results and the broader geological dataset, Renegade has moved to plan a maiden drill program at Myschka to test the emerging RIRGS-style target at depth.
