The S&P/ASX 200 finished lower on Wednesday, slipping 21.20 points, or 0.25%, to 8,447.90 – a new 100-day low. The weakest performers in the benchmark were DroneShield Limited and Catapult Sports Ltd, which fell 20.20% and 6.64% respectively. The index is down 4.00% over the past five sessions but remains 3.54% higher year to date.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index (XSO) also eased, losing 12.40 points, or 0.35%, to close at 3,572.50, taking its five-day decline to 181.70 points, or 4.84%.
