SEEK Limited (ASX:SEK) has appointed Greg Roebuck as a non-executive director, effective January 1, 2026, and chairman-elect to succeed current chair Graham Goldsmith from March 1, 2026, when Goldsmith will retire from the Board. Roebuck will stand for election at SEEK’s 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Goldsmith is retiring after 13 years on the SEEK Board, including the past seven years as Chairman. He has overseen a period of substantial change for the company. “It has been an honour and privilege to be a director and the Chairman of SEEK and to work with an outstanding Board, Management team and founder,” Goldsmith said.
He highlighted SEEK’s transformation in recent years, including simplification of the business structure, unification of technology platforms and APAC teams, greater use of AI to support customers and a more disciplined approach to investment decisions.
SEEK is now well positioned as a leading online employment marketplace with foundations for sustainable long-term earnings growth, while continuing to focus on its purpose, responsible operations and unique culture.
Roebuck was the original architect and co-founder of CAR Group Limited and, as CEO, led the transformation of Australia’s automotive sales industry and the company’s international expansion.
He has since held a range of non-executive and strategic roles, including chairman of Pentana Solutions, non-executive director at Walkinshaw Automotive Group Pty Ltd and VicRoads, and partner in several investment funds, maintaining a strong focus on technology and disciplined investment. Goldsmith said he was delighted with the Board’s decision to appoint Roebuck as Chairman-elect.
