Market movers: Klarna, Home Depot, Ocado...

Ocado Group PLC (LSE:OCDO) shares slumped over 19% to 174p, around lows last seen over a decade ago, after US grocery client Kroger said it would shut down three of the warehouses that rely on the online grocery supplier's technology.

Kroger Co (NYSE:KR) announced that it will close three operating customer fulfilment centres, in Frederick, Maryland; Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; and Groveland, Florida by January.

Klarna Group PLC on Tuesday reported record third-quarter revenue in its first earnings release as a publicly traded company, driven by surging demand in the US and rapid adoption of its new Klarna Card, even as higher credit loss provisions pushed the buy-now-pay-later provider deeper into the red.

The Swedish fintech said revenue rose 26% year-over-year to $903 million, beating analysts’ expectations, while US revenue jumped 51%.

Home Depot Inc (NYSE:HD, XETRA:HDI) on Tuesday posted quarterly results that topped Wall Street’s revenue expectations but fell short on profit, as softer US home-improvement demand and fewer storm-related projects weighed on its business.

The largest US home-improvement retailer reported third-quarter sales of $41.35 billion, up 2.8% from a year earlier and ahead of analysts’ estimates of $40.91 billion. But adjusted earnings per share fell to $3.74, missing expectations of $3.85, while operating income slipped 1.2% to $5.35 billion.

Shares in CelLBxHealth PLC (AIM:CLBX, NSX:ANPCY, OTCQB:ANPCF) climbed 7% to 1.93p after the company unveiled a collaboration with Qiagen designed to bring its Parsortix circulating tumour cell platform to a wider range of pharmaceutical partners.

The agreement gives Qiagen the ability to bundle Parsortix into projects alongside its own molecular technologies, including polymerase chain reaction, digital polymerase chain reaction and next-generation sequencing.
