AuMEGA Metals CEO Sam Pazuki talked with Proactive about the company’s launch of a diamond drilling program at its Cape Ray Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
The campaign targets a major airborne electromagnetic (EM) anomaly situated just 500 metres southeast of the Central Zone, which hosts the highest-grade gold within AuMEGA’s current resource. According to Pazuki, this area has seen no historical exploration despite a historical surface sample grading 111.5g/t gold being located nearby.
“This thing’s been walked past, driven past for the last 20 years, but no one has done any sort of exploration work,” said Pazuki. He confirmed that two diamond drill rigs are being mobilised and drilling is underway.
