Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has delivered another round of high-grade results from its ongoing 100,000-metre infill and step-back drilling program at the 2.41-million-ounce Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, including a standout intercept of 3.10 metres at 70.78 g/t gold from 112.90 metres.
The new assays, returned from the BMT3 deposit, form part of Aurum’s push to grow and upgrade the project’s mineral resource base ahead of two major updates scheduled for early Q1 2026.

High-grade hits extend known mineralisation
The latest results include:
- 5.10 metres at 43.13 g/t gold (Au) from 112.90 metres, including 3.10 metres at 70.78 g/t (MBDD291)

Aurum noted that the headline MBDD291 intersection sits outside the current mineral resource estimate (MRE) and roughly 375 metres south of an earlier bonanza-grade hit of 4.20 metres at 80.64 g/t from 107 metres (including 1.43 metres at 234.35 g/t) in MBDD214B.

Managing director Dr Caigen Wang said the new results again demonstrate the presence of shallow high-grade shoots within the Boundiali system.
“We are awaiting assays from drilling to the north, and new holes are planned to target these plunging high-grade shoots,” Wang said. “We are increasing the tempo of drilling at Boundiali ahead of our next major resource update expected in early Q1 CY2026. We now have 12 diamond drill rigs active at Boundiali on multiple deposits, as we focus on delivering an increase in confidence and quantity in our Boundiali mineral resources.”
He added that recent drilling at the company’s Napié Project, where 17 metres at 9.38 g/t gold was returned from 236 metres, highlights Aurum’s ability to define high-grade ounces across multiple assets.
12 rigs now active, with resource growth the priority
Two additional diamond rigs have now been added to Aurum’s owned-and-operated fleet, bringing the total to 12 and allowing the company to accelerate drilling at both Boundiali and Napié. More than 130,000 metres of combined drilling is planned across the two gold projects in CY2025.
Gold mineralisation at BMT3 remains open along strike and at depth, with further drilling under way on multiple deposits within the broader Boundiali project area.

In addition to the major mineral resource updates for Boundiali and Napié, Aurum expects to deliver Boundiali pre-feasibility study (PFS) results in Q1 CY2026. The company is targeting increased resource size and confidence at the BD, BM and BST deposits while continuing scout drilling across several tenements to advance new discoveries into future MREs.
Aurum continues to progress multiple workstreams in parallel, including a 30,000-metre program at Napié designed to expand the existing 0.87-million-ounce resource.
Its portfolio now includes 3.28 million ounces of gold resources across Boundiali and Napié, with the company reporting that its rapid drilling capability provides a competitive advantage as it pushes towards near-term growth milestones.
“With a strong cash balance of more than $45 million at the end of September, a clear development pathway with the Boundiali PFS under way, and major resource updates at both gold projects pending, we are in an excellent position to deliver substantial shareholder value through 2025 and into 2026,” Wang said.
