Galantas (LON:GAL) has unearthed more signs of gold at a site 33kms from its newly permitted underground mine in Omagh.
Samples taken from three licences, which are over the border in the Republic of Ireland, showed grades of between 1.6 and 2.5 grams per tonne of gold in 13 of the 30 samples.
Anomalous results for copper, nickel, zinc and lead were also found.
All samples were grab samples and a more detailed testing programme is now planned alongside follow-up work in the area.
