Rome Resources Plc (AIM:RMR) has announced the death of its chief operating officer, Mark Gasson, who passed away in South Africa on 14 November after a short illness.
Gasson played a central role in shaping the Bisie North Project, guiding it from early exploration through to its recently published maiden mineral resource.
Non-executive chairman Klaus Eckhof and chief executive Paul Barrett said: “We are greatly saddened by Mark’s passing and express our deepest sympathy and best wishes to his family in these very difficult times.”
