The S&P/ASX 200 inched higher on Monday, finishing 1.9 points up at 8,636.40. Droneshield Ltd and Elders Ltd led the benchmark, gaining 11.16% and 6.38% respectively. Despite the day’s marginal rise, the index is down 2.26% over the past five sessions but remains 5.85% higher year to date.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index (XSO) closed at 3,683.00, climbing 30.80 points or 0.84% on the day. The index has slipped 1.87% across the past five days.
