Race Oncology Ltd (ASX:RAC, OTC:RAONF) CEO Dr Daniel Tillett talked with Proactive about the company’s launch of two new clinical programs for its lead asset, RC220, targeting acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Dr Tillett said the expansion marked “a really major step forward for the company”, highlighting how recent discoveries around RC220’s mechanism of action enabled a focused strategy in high-value cancer indications. The company has identified key markets where RC220 could delay or prevent resistance to existing therapies, creating strong potential value for shareholders and patients.
For lung cancer, Race is targeting EGFR-mutant NSCLC, a $10 billion-plus market.
