Novo Resources Corp executive co-chairman and acting CEO Mike Spreadborough talked with Proactive about the company’s latest exploration success in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.
Spreadborough discussed recent high-grade rock-chip samples at the Teichman prospect, with assays up to 77.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, taken along a 1.2-kilometre structural corridor. “Some of the results are great – 77.5, 51.4, 30.3 – all along a 1.2km corridor. That’s really, really super exciting,” he said, adding that modern drilling is being planned to build on historic prospecting.
The company also announced scout drilling success at Sherlock Crossing, where a 3-metre interval returned 2.96 g/t gold and 1.86% antimony from 108 metres, including a metre at 7.71 g/t gold and 4.77% antimony.
The presence of antimony – a critical mineral – adds further interest to the project’s development potential.
