Terrain Minerals Ltd executive director Justin Virgin talked with Proactive about the company’s latest drilling initiative at its 100%-owned Lightning prospect, part of the Smokebush Project in Western Australia. The company is preparing a 4,500-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program targeting both resource expansion and new discoveries.
Virgin said the campaign is a major step towards delivering a maiden mineral resource at Lightning by 2026.
“From what we're seeing today, this is really exciting. There's a lot of gold in this system, so we're very confident that it's going to be very positive,” he told Proactive.
Virgin said 80% of the drilling will be completed before Christmas, with results expected by early February.
