MicroSalt PLC (AIM:SALT) shares moved higher on Friday after the small-cap firm reported unaudited sales of $1.66 million for the ten months ended 31 October, and said it now expects to exceed its original full-year revenue forecast of $2 million.
The company also confirmed it has received a first bulk order from a major North American customer for delivery to one of its end retailers.
This latest development supports projected sales of $5 million in 2026 from this customer alone, increasing to $11 million in 2027. The company said it has also entered a non-binding term sheet for a proposed four-year Joint Development Agreement with the customer to co-develop sodium reduction technologies.
"Our success in 2025 stems from focused strategic efforts to build a long-lived, sustainable organisation that not only delivers healthier foods, but that also delivers top-line revenue and investor returns," said chief executive Rick Guiney.
The company is also forecasting 2026 revenue of $7 million, supported by additional contracts, including a new $50,000 order from Daiya Foods.
In London, MicroSalt shares climbed 4.4% changing hands at 60.55p, having seen as high as 65p today.
