Aptamer Group PLC (LSE:APTA) shares opened higher, rising as much as 8% in early trade, after it secured two new contracts worth a combined £192,000, bringing its binding FY26 order book to £1.95 million.
One contract marks a fourth successive engagement with a top 5 global pharmaceutical firm, while the other involves a new customer in the acute myeloid leukaemia space.
The synthetic binders specialist that services the life sciences industry told investors that the new orders reflect commercial traction for its Optimer binders across therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Aptamer said it continues to build repeat business with large pharmaceutical companies, with contracts now spanning neurology, oncology, and radiopharmaceuticals.
"Securing our fourth consecutive engagement with a top five pharmaceutical company is a strong validation of our technology's performance," chief executive Dr Arron Tolley commented.
In London, Aptamer shares traded as high as 1.06p in Friday's exchanges.
