Markets in a Minute: Inghams Group shines, CBA sinks

Good afternoon, and welcome to Proactive's Markets in a Minute wrap for the week.

In what's making headlines this Friday - gold prices have picked up to just over US$4,200 an ounce just after lunchtime, despite edging lower overnight amidst a broad market sell-off following the reopening of the US government.

Back on Aussie soil, let's take a look at some of the stocks that made news on the ASX this week.

Green

Inghams Group had a stellar week on its FY26 trading update and reaffirmed full-year earnings guidance. Its EBITDA guidance stays between $215 million and $230 million.

Core Lithium also shot up this week after announcing a revised reopening plan for its Finniss Project amidst higher lithium prices, boosting investor confidence.

Red

Life360 took a hit this week despite a strong run on its Q3 revenue, which was up 34%, powered by booming subscriptions and smart global pricing. The company says its earnings surged 174%, with strong cash flow and disciplined growth.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia also fell short on its September quarter update. Operating income rose just 3%, and profit growth came in short of investors' expectations.
