Foxconn on Wednesday reported third-quarter 2025 earnings that increased 17% year over year to NT$57.67 billion (New Taiwan dollars), propelled by growth in the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) server business.
Analysts, on average, expected a profit of NT$50.41 billion, according to data provided by LSEG.
The world’s largest contract electronics maker also posted revenue for the period that rose 11% to NT$2.06 trillion, matching the Wall Street consensus forecast.
Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, is best known as the world’s largest manufacturer of iPhones.
The company, however, also manufactures server racks designed for AI workloads and has become a key supplier to Nvidia.
Foxconn noted that it is partnering with Nvidia, Stellantis and Uber to build 'Level 4' autonomous vehicles, which doesn’t require a safety driver to be present.
On November 6, the company also announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Electric to jointly supply energy-efficient AI data center solutions globally.
Foxconn said it remains optimistic about the continued growth of its AI and smart consumer electronics segments, expecting strong momentum both quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year.
