Astrid Intelligence PLC (AQSE:ASTR) has announced the development of SigmaArena, a new AI trading-focused subnet known as Subnet 127, within the Bittensor decentralised AI network.
The platform is designed to allow developers to create and test autonomous trading systems in an open and transparent environment.
"The development of SigmaArena marks another leap forward for Astrid in our decentralised intelligence strategy. It transforms Subnet 127 into a proving ground for on-chain financial AI where performance is transparent, incentives are aligned, and intelligence compounds daily," said executive chair Olivia Edwards.
Early contributors to SigmaArena are expected to build agents focused on crypto, FX, and DeFi markets, with models evaluated on predictive accuracy and adaptability.
The project is intended to support future commercial products and build on Astrid’s AI-first operational model.
Edwards added: "SigmaArena will strengthen our ability to deliver measurable, verifiable intelligence on-chain and reinforce Astrid's position at the forefront of decentralised AI."
The company also noted that it continues to deepen its work within the Bittensor ecosystem, following its key hire of Léo Mercier as its Bittensor Strategist.
