EnWave inks royalty-bearing commercial license agreement with US snack company

EnWave Corp (TSX-V:ENW, OTC:NWVCF), a leader in vacuum microwave dehydration, announced that it has entered into a royalty-bearing commercial license agreement with a US-based snack company.

The agreement covers the use of EnWave’s Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology for the production of the company’s fruit and vegetable-based snack products.

The two companies have been collaborating for several months to refine the drying process for the Licensee’s proprietary formulas, EnWave said.

As part of the agreement, the licensee has purchased a 10kW REV dehydration machine, which is scheduled for installation at a third-party manufacturing partner in Mexico before the end of 2025.

The licensee plans to launch its REV-dried products in Mexico in the first quarter of 2026, with expansion into the US market anticipated in 2027.

Under the terms of the commercial license, the licensee holds global rights to produce its proprietary products, provided that annual minimum royalty requirements are met, and also has a non-exclusive right to produce other fruit and vegetable snack products under its own brand.

According to EnWave, additional details regarding the licensee will be shared at the time of the official product launch in 2026.
