The S&P/ASX 200 finished higher on Monday, up 0.75% (+66.20) to 8,835.90. Liontown Resources and Monadelphous Group led the gains, rising 12.75% and 11.01% respectively. Despite the uptick, the benchmark is down 0.66% over five sessions and sits 3.06% below its 52-week peak.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries [XSO] climbed 2.03% (+73.80) to 3,712.70 today, but is off 1.19% over the past five days.
