Downer EDI Limited has secured a Chevron Australia contract to provide maintenance and support services for up to 15 years. The agreement begins in January 2026 with an initial 10-year term and a single five-year extension option. Downer estimates the contract could generate $750 million over the full 15-year period, subject to Chevron releasing work orders.
The scope covers maintenance, asset management and small capital projects for non-process infrastructure at Chevron’s Wheatstone and Gorgon facilities in Western Australia.
The company highlighted the award as recognition of its performance and sector expertise. The CEO of Downer, Peter Tompkins, said the new contract is testament to Downer’s industry expertise and track record of delivering efficiency and performance improvements for Chevron.
