Standard Uranium unveils 2026 exploration plans for Athabasca Basin projects

Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) has announced its 2026 exploration plans and provided a summary of its 2025 exploration activities across its uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin, northern Saskatchewan.

The company said its 2026 programs will include high-resolution geophysics and targeted diamond drilling across multiple projects, including its flagship Davidson River property and partner-funded programs at the Corvo and Rocas projects.

Drilling is planned throughout the year as the company continues exploration across the Basin.

Jon Bey, Standard Uranium CEO, said 2026 is poised to be the company’s most active exploration season to date.

“With new option agreements in place for the Corvo and Rocas projects, and Davidson River now drill-ready with new high-priority target areas identified via the first Exosphere Multiphysics survey in the southwestern Athabasca, we are pleased to share that we continue to advance our uranium exploration portfolio toward discovery,” Bey said.

“We firmly believe the uranium market will remain one of the few bright spots in the investment landscape ahead."

At the Davidson River project, new target areas have been defined along the Warrior, Bronco, and Thunderbird conductor corridors using high-resolution 3D imaging.

The company has secured all required drill permits, signed Exploration Agreements with the Clearwater River Dene Nation, and plans to begin drilling in early spring 2026, with approximately 8,000 metres planned.

At the Corvo project, an extensive ground gravity survey covering more than 29 kilometres of conductive strike length is scheduled for December 2025.

A 3,000-metre diamond drill program will follow in winter 2026, marking the first drilling on the property in more than 40 years. Drilling will target the Manhattan Showing and newly identified radioactive areas.

At the Rocas project, following a 2024 gravity survey and interpretation work by Convolutions Geoscience, a 1,800-metre drill program is planned for winter 2026 to test high-priority zones along a 7.5-kilometre magnetic low and EM conductive corridor that hosts several uranium showings.

The Sun Dog Project will undergo 3D modeling and inversions of EM and gravity data collected in 2024 and 2025 to refine targets for a future partner-funded drill program.

2025 exploration highlights

In 2025, Standard Uranium completed a range of geophysical and prospecting programs across its Athabasca Basin projects.

At Davidson River, a Fleet ExoSphere Multiphysics Survey identified new gravity-low anomalies interpreted as potential hydrothermal alteration zones.

At the Sun Dog project, high-resolution ground gravity surveys refined drill targets and assays from the 2024 drill program returned anomalous uranium in all holes.

Additional survey work at the Atlantic, Rocas, and Corvo projects outlined new conductive trends and potential drill targets. Prospecting at Corvo identified new high-grade uranium mineralization with results up to 8.10% U₃O₈, while work at Rocas recorded anomalous radioactivity readings up to 33,000 cps.

Standard Uranium also announced that it has granted 1.475,000 incentive stock options and 3,350,000 restricted share units to directors, officers, and consultants under its omnibus incentive plan.

The options are exercisable at $0.11 per share until November 6, 2030, and vest over 12 months. The restricted share units will vest on November 6, 2026.
