Shares of Lemonade Inc (NYSE:LMND) jumped more than 35% on Wednesday after the digital insurer reported its eighth straight quarter of accelerating growth and sharply narrower losses for the third quarter of 2025.
The company said revenue rose 42% from a year earlier to $195 million, while in-force premium climbed 30% to $1.16 billion, ahead of plan. Gross profit more than doubled to $80 million, lifting the gross margin to 41%.
Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U) shares added more than 8% after the company’s third quarter earnings outperformed Wall Street expectations on both revenue and earnings per share (EPS).
The video game development platform posted revenue of $471 million, up 5% year-over-year and exceeding the forecast of approximately $453 million.
Novo Nordisk (NYSE:NVO) shares moved lower after the drugmaker posted weaker-than-expected revenue growth for Q3 and adjusted its full-year guidance, citing reduced growth expectations for its diabetes and obesity products amid increased competition and pricing pressure.
Novo Nordisk downwardly revised its guidance, now expecting full-year 2025 sales growth of 8% to 11% at constant exchange rates (CER), down from its earlier guidance of 8% to 14%.
Rivian Automotive Inc (NASDAQ:RIVN) shares surged almost 13% after delivering better-than-expected third quarter financial results.
The electric vehicle maker posted revenue of $1.56 billion, up 78% from the same quarter last year and surpassing analyst forecasts of $1.5 billion.
Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) said it has successfully intersected 34.45 metres of material from its Perry Vein in one hole (PC25-157) located 60 metres north of a high-grade gold intercept reported in September.
The company said drilling is continuing with the next hole aimed at a further northern extension of the vein.
Wedbush analysts on Wednesday reduced their target price on Pinterest Inc (NYSE:PINS) to $34 per share from $44, while reiterating their ‘Outperform’ rating, after the company’s third quarter 2025 earnings missed expectations and its Q4 forecast disappointed.
Pinterest posted adjusted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter of $0.38, falling short of the $0.42 analyst consensus estimate.
McDonald's Corp (NYSE:MCD, ETR:MDO) reported third-quarter earnings that slightly missed Wall Street expectations on revenue and adjusted earnings per share but saw modest strength in US same-store sales, sending shares up 3.3% in early trading on Wednesday.
The fast-food giant posted revenue of $7.08 billion for the quarter, up 3% from a year ago but below the $7.10 billion analysts had expected.
Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares fell more than 7% after it reported fiscal first quarter 2026 results that came in below Wall Street expectations, with both revenue and earnings down from the prior year.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, the company posted net sales of $5 billion, down from $5.9 billion in the year-ago quarter and below analyst estimates of around $6 billion.
Ceres Power Holdings PLC (LSE:CWR, OTC:CPWHF) shares surged 11% to 347p after the clean energy technology firm signed a new manufacturing licence agreement with Chinese engine giant Weichai Power, expanding their long-standing partnership into large-scale production.
Under the deal, Weichai will produce Ceres’ proprietary solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology at a new facility in China, focusing on power systems for data centres, industrial operations and commercial buildings.
Corero Network Security PLC (AIM:CNS, OTCQB:DDoSF) shares rose 9% to 9.5p after the cybersecurity specialist announced strong third-quarter trading and a major renewal and expansion deal with a leading US cloud computing customer.
The AIM-listed firm, which provides protection against distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, said order intake rose to $7.4 million in the three months to September, up from $6 million a year earlier. New contracts were secured across the US, UK, Europe, Brazil and Singapore, while two further customers signed up for its CORE (Corero Observability & Resiliency Ecosystem) platform.
Shares in Petro Matad Limited (AIM:MATD, OTC:PRTDF) slipped 11% to 1.4p after the Mongolia-focused oil producer reported mixed operational news, with a new well starting production but continued challenges at another site.
The AIM-quoted explorer said its Gazelle-1 well, tested in October, has been brought online at an initial rate of around 200 barrels of oil per day.
London-listed gold miners are expected to attract strong interest at the open, after bullion prices rebounded sharply overnight. Investors returned to the haven asset amid a sell-off in global equities driven by mounting concerns over stretched valuations.
Spot gold was $3,970 an ounce in Asian trading, recovering from a near 2% drop the previous day.
