The Small Cap Wrap: ASX takes a dive, but there's some good news among small caps

On Wednesday, the S&P/ASX 200 eased 11.70 points (−0.13%) to 8,802.00, setting a 20-day low. Megaport and Paladin Energy were the weakest performers, down 9.66% and 8.93% respectively. The index has fallen 1.39% over the past five sessions and sits 3.44% below its 52-week high.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries (XSO) closed at 3,673.90, down 53.30 points (−1.43%) today and 75.80 points (−2.02%) over five days.
