Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC, OTC:ORHHF) has moved to lock in the estimated US$75 million Canadian nerve repair market, appointing a second distributor to deliver full national coverage for its Remplir™ device.
The new Ontario-based partner has exclusive rights across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland, complementing Orthocell’s existing distributor in Alberta and British Columbia. With this split, Remplir becomes accessible to healthcare providers across both urban and rural Canada.
The newly appointed distributor brings deep experience in the nerve, spine and orthopaedic implant sectors, backed by six product managers and a 30-strong sales team to support hospital and clinic adoption.
Initial Canadian launch activities took place at October’s Annual Meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand in Vancouver, with first sales expected this quarter. The Canadian rollout will be coordinated by Orthocell’s US-based Marketing and Medical Education teams, leveraging programs and clinical data used in the US launch to drive consistency and efficiency across North America.

Orthocell secures Health Canada licence for Remplir, ramps up US rollout
Orthocell received a Medical Device Licence (MDL) from Health Canada for its flagship nerve-repair product, Remplir, in April 2025 — well ahead of expectations following its February 2025 regulatory submission.
With more than $50 million in cash and no debt, the company says it is positioned to accelerate product adoption and target a step-change in revenue in FY26.
In the estimated US$1.6 billion US market, Remplir’s rollout is gathering pace, with local representatives progressing hospital approvals, onboarding surgeons and establishing active accounts. Initial US surgical cases are continuing to build.
