Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) said its operations in southern Mali remain unaffected by recent reports of security unrest near the capital, Bamako. The company confirmed that work at its Bougouni lithium project, about 180km from the capital, is continuing as normal. Trucking of spodumene concentrate to the port of San Pedro in Côte d’Ivoire has already begun, with more than 10,000 tonnes delivered so far. Kodal added that management is currently on site for the scheduled presidential inauguration of the Bougouni project.
