Shares in Northcoders Group PLC (AIM:CODE) climbed 6% to 35.5p after the tech training and consultancy group announced more than £700,000 of new work for its consultancy arm, Counter.
The contracts include fresh projects worth over £450,000 with existing long-term clients and a further £250,000 in renewals and extensions, spanning both corporate and government sectors.
The update follows Northcoders’ decision to prioritise investment in Counter, which has been gaining traction with its “challenger” consultancy model designed to offer an alternative to traditional hire-train-deploy firms.
Chief executive Chris Hill said the latest wins reflected strong client confidence and the effectiveness of the division’s selective growth strategy.
“These new and extended assignments highlight the confidence our clients have in Counter and the excellence of our delivery,” he said.
Hill added that the deals underpin Northcoders’ drive for sustainable, profitable expansion as Counter® plays a growing role in group revenues.
