Green360 Technologies Executive Chairman Aaron Banks talked with Proactive about the company’s progress toward commercializing its Eco-Clay product — a low-carbon substitute that can replace up to 40% of traditional Portland cement.
Banks explained that Eco-Clay, developed from Green360’s tailings facility and settlement pond, has been validated by Melbourne University and outperformed commercial alternatives. “Stage one complete. We have a product that’s validated,” he said, calling it a major milestone.
The next step, according to Banks, is securing a toll treatment facility to begin delivering Eco-Clay to market. He confirmed that this is in final negotiations and will enable Green360 to start fulfilling commercial orders before year-end.
Banks also noted progress in the company’s red mud trials, aimed at neutralizing bauxite residue — a byproduct in aluminium production. If scalable success is achieved, it could lead to a commercial agreement.
Financially, Green360 ended the quarter with AUD 3 million in cash and appointed Darren Hedley of Permacast to the board. This, Banks said, further solidified the company’s joint venture partnerships in the low-carbon concrete space, including products like retaining wall blocks and noise wall panels.
