Resolution Minerals US CEO Craig Lindsay talked with Proactive about the company’s acquisition of a 25-acre land package adjacent to the Horse Heaven project in Idaho. Lindsay emphasized the significance of securing this land, highlighting its private ownership, operational flexibility, and historical mining infrastructure.
“This land package is immediately adjacent and right at the bottom of the hill of Horse Heaven,” Lindsay said. He added that the site includes the Johnson Creek mill, a structure in good condition with historical production up to 1980. While the internal equipment may not be usable, the building itself, alongside its water rights, presents substantial value for both current drilling and potential processing operations.
He also discussed a strong set of early drill results from Horse Heaven, confirming a gold discovery. The first drill hole returned a 189-meter intercept at 1.3g/t, including 70 meters at 2.24g/t, beginning at surface. Lindsay stated, “I've never drilled a 189-meter intercept over a gram per ton.”
With further assay results from a ten-hole program pending, the company is optimistic. Lindsay noted the geological similarity to the adjacent, fully-permitted Stibnite gold-antimony project as an encouraging indicator of Horse Heaven's potential.
