Trust Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, EURONEXT:AIID), doing business as Trust Stamp, President Andrew Gowasack talked with Proactive about the company’s recent milestone of securing 100 financial institution customers and its strategic move to join the Founders Arena accelerator program.
Gowasack explained that this progress highlights the scalability and relevance of Trust Stamp’s platform within the financial services sector, especially as fraud threats continue to escalate.
“Our privacy-first biometric technology is the exact tool needed to fight it,” he said, referring to the rise in sophisticated, AI-driven scams.
The decision to join Founders Arena marks a deliberate shift into the wealth tech space, which Gowasack described as a “high value market that really desperately needs more technology.”
He highlighted that wealth managers face the same types of fraud risks as financial institutions, but with even higher stakes due to the high net worth clients they serve.
Gowasack referenced a 2024 incident where a financial worker was duped into sending $25 million via a video call featuring a deepfake of a CFO.
He also cited JP Morgan's projection that fraud-related losses were expected to exceed $16.6 billion, up 33% year-over-year.
Joining Founders Arena is intended to accelerate Trust Stamp’s market penetration and leverage connections with key industry players.
“We couldn’t ask for a better partner to get us in the right rooms and accelerate our growth,” he said.
