Getech shares surge 36% after flurry of new contract wins

Getech Group PLC (AIM:GTC) shares jumped 36% to 2.59p after the subsurface data and analytics specialist announced a surge in new business, securing twelve contracts worth around £333,000 in the past month.

Roughly £300,000 of the total value will be recognised in the current financial year, with three of the deals coming from new customers. The remainder adds to Getech’s existing £4.1 million order book, up from £3.8 million at the end of June.

The latest wins include around £150,000 in sales from the company’s gravity and magnetic data library, £141,000 from its geoscience consultancy services, and £42,000 from software licence renewals.

Chief executive Chris Jepps said the results highlight the impact of recent changes to the sales team, noting that new leadership and resources are “delivering tangible results.”

He added that the deals reflect the company’s growing reach across oil and gas, geothermal, and critical minerals markets, with a sales pipeline “larger and higher quality” than a year ago.

Jepps said Getech expects momentum to continue into the fourth quarter, historically its strongest period, as demand grows for its subsurface intelligence tools and expertise.
