Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) has signed a contract renewal and secured a significant new order for its Guardian driver monitoring technology with long-standing Latin American partner HORUX Latam, based in Chile.
Under the new seven-year agreement, which can be extended by a further three years, HORUX Latam will remain the exclusive distributor for Guardian in Chile and has committed to purchasing at least 1,300 units for delivery during the 2026 financial year.
The first 600 units are due to ship in October 2025, marking the start of a large regional rollout.
Guardian is Seeing Machines’ in-cabin safety system that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to detect driver fatigue and distraction in real time, helping prevent accidents in commercial and fleet vehicles.
HORUX Latam plans to use the new order to support growing demand across Latin America, with a particular focus on expanding Guardian’s reach beyond Chile to other regional markets.
Paul McGlone, chief executive of Seeing Machines, said the expanded partnership marked another step in the company’s international growth.
“Together, we are genuinely improving road safety, and I am delighted to work with the team at HORUX Latam as we expand the Guardian business globally,” he added.
The Canberra-based company, which is listed on London’s AIM market, develops AI-powered monitoring systems for automotive, aviation and fleet operators.
The latest deal strengthens its foothold in Latin America, a region with rising demand for safety technology in commercial transport.
