Nvidia AI vision reaches new inflection point with Huang’s GTC keynote, analysts say

Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, ETR:NVD)'s latest announcements mark another major turning point in the artificial intelligence revolution, according to Wedbush analysts, who believe CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at the company’s GTC event in Washington, DC, underscores Nvidia’s role as the driving force behind the next era of AI infrastructure.

“Huang’s remarks reinforce our view that Nvidia remains at the center of one of the most disruptive technology shifts in modern history,” the analysts wrote.

“The AI Revolution is hitting another inflection point, with Nvidia continuing to expand its dominance across computing, telecommunications, and robotics.”

The analysts highlighted the unveiling of Nvidia’s Grace Blackwell NVL72 system as a key announcement. The platform integrates Nvidia’s GPUs into a single rack through advanced co-design, delivering what Huang described as “10x performance per dollar, 10x performance per watt, 10x throughput, and 10x revenue per GPU at 10x lower cost.”

“This innovation shows Nvidia’s commitment to optimizing the full stack — from silicon to system — to deliver exponential efficiency and value for AI workloads,” Wedbush wrote.

During the event, Nvidia disclosed approximately $500 billion in Blackwell and Rubin revenue backlog through 2026, representing around 20 million GPUs sold, more than five times the lifetime value of the company’s previous Hopper architecture. Rubin, the company’s next-generation platform, is expected to enter production by next year.

“Across the top six cloud service providers — Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle, Meta, and CoreWeave — we estimate $443 billion in AI capex by 2025, rising to $632 billion by 2027,” Wedbush wrote.

“Nvidia’s new architecture is designed to improve total cost of ownership while expanding the addressable AI compute market.”

Beyond AI leadership

The analysts also highlighted Nvidia’s growing presence beyond chips, citing developments in quantum computing, telecommunications, and robotics.

The company announced its Quantum-GPU platform, NVQLink, which connects quantum processors to Nvidia GPUs for hybrid simulations and error correction. Seventeen quantum-computer companies and eight US Department of Energy labs are participating in the ecosystem.

“These initiatives demonstrate Nvidia’s broadening leadership beyond AI chips to full-stack computing and scientific infrastructure,” Wedbush believes.

The firm pointed to Nvidia’s $1 billion equity investment in Nokia to co-develop 6G technology as a signal of the company’s long-term ambitions to extend its chips into next-generation networks.

In robotics, Nvidia introduced the Omniverse DSX Blueprint for “gigascale AI factory buildouts,” offering a framework for designing and operating industrial-scale AI facilities.

The company also unveiled an upgraded Omniverse Blueprint for digital twin and robotic simulation using generative AI models.

“Despite rising competition from other chipmakers like Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NASDAQ:AMD, ETR:AMD) and Qualcomm Inc (NASDAQ:QCOM, ETR:QCI), Nvidia's chips remain the new oil or gold in this world for the tech ecosystem as there is only one chip in the world fueling this AI Revolution...and it's Nvidia,” the analysts concluded.

Investors also seem confident in Nvidia’s prospects, sending its shares as much as 4% higher on Wednesday, for its market capitalization to top $5 trillion.
