NEXE Innovations Inc (TSX-V:NEXE, OTC:NEXNF) announced that it has received a repeat purchase order for approximately 250,000 of its BPI-certified compostable coffee pods from a North American office coffee services (OCS) and retail distributor.
The new order follows a previous delivery of 80,000 compostable coffee pods for three new SKUs last week, the company said on Wednesday.
The latest order covers nine different SKUs and is intended for a recognized coffee brand distributed by NEXE’s OCS partner, which works with more than 10 major brands across North America.
NEXE also reported that it has onboarded a new West Coast–based roaster, a British Columbia company known for its sustainability practices and participation in the circular economy.
The roaster has placed an initial order for 100,000 compostable coffee pods.
NEXE said that additional details will be shared closer to the product’s launch.
“These orders reflect the operational progress of the company and the growing customer confidence and interest in our products,” NEXE president Ash Guglani said in a statement.
“Onboarding new partners is a detailed process that takes time, including establishing product integration, testing, and scaling orders, but once complete, it often leads to recurring orders. We believe this steady progress is beginning to result in measurable business activity and enhanced customer engagement.”
